Right in the centre of this painting, in the sand, lies the wreck of a steel hulled boat. Cinematographers and artists, including the band U2, have all flocked here in order to paint or shoot around this wreck.This is a painting of Macheraclogher without the wreck.I have used artistic licence a few times around the world in order to rehabilitate the environment, albeit only in pigment. Small format painting with retrospective value.
